no way, for SNES.
Better resolution, better colors, better sound and I don't know if the GBA version has co-op but even if it has, it doesn't beat playing on the same TV.

Magical Quest got two sequels that are good.
Great Circus Mystery added co-op multiplayer. Mickey & Donald expanded the co-op by giving Donald's suits different powers so each player was unique.
The third game was Japan only on SNES but it's not like it required much reading and if you're emulating there's a translation patch.

It's gorgeous, but it's slow and the attack hit detection is a bit wonky.
Mickey no Tokyo Disneyland Daibouken is my favorite SNES Mickey Mouse game.
the first Magical Quest is very good too. the sequels aren't as good, due to weaker level design and non-existent challenge.
Donald Duck Mahou no Bushi (Super famicom) can own Mickey's ass anytime.
