Ok I hope you guys can help me, so hear me out.

I played a party game on the PS1 and only remember 1 minigame from it. You fly in planes and dogfight each other. If you fly offscreen, you warp to the other side of the screen. When you shoot someone down, their plane explodes, and they float down in a parachute. Then you can shoot their parachuting man for bonus points.

I assumed it was Crash Bash, but I recently looked up the minigames in it and never found this one.

Is anyone here familiar with this game?

Here are some of the best that i can remember at the moment: Tekken 3, micro machines v3, any of the worms games, hogs of war, vigilante 8, Street fighter alpha 3, soul blade, The unholy war, super puzzle fighter 2, international track and field, bishi bashi special, comand and conquer red alert, bust a move 2, medal of honoir, poy poy, gravity power and sensible soccer style game for net yaroze.

It was TM2 that really did it for me, but this is my answer as well.

Also tons of Super Puzzle Fighter, but at this point I wouldn't recommend the PS1 version of the game. The new balanced ones are much better.

also we played a lot of WWF attitude back then, game itself was actually pretty bad but we got so much fun out of it...
Also we played a lot of Quake II, but that'd probably be obsolete by now
