Far from it. But as far as videogames go, it was okay. The final boss from S&K was better.
Honestly though none of them looked especially memorable or too impressive, probably because I played Ranger X before I reached the end of Sonic 2 first, and Ranger X has the screen getting permanuked and then this monstrocity walks in as the FIRST BOSS FIGHT.

I remember my brother got this far once.
He had this thing where he would get mad and kick me and our sister out of the room so he could concentrate on a game.
So we got a roll of yarn and strung from him to outside of the room and told him to yank on it when he beat it and we could see the ending.
But the yarn was never yanked. He couldn't beat it.
