How come one of the worse Sonic game has a 10/10 soundtrack?
You ca say this about most Sonic games actually.
06 was horrendous and even it still had a good OST.

I'm confused. I was talking about the terrible music in Chronicles, not the god tier music in 3D. Perhaps you linked the wrong song?
As for Chronicles, I heard it was a combination of the composers (either Jacques or that other guy, not sure) being unable to figure out the software they were using to make the DS music, and also that Bioware's contract with Sega expired midway through development so they basically slapped horrible placeholder MIDI music into the game and released it in alpha.

It's not a bad game at all really, it's just severely lacking in content. I bought it at launch and it really pushed the boundaries of the Saturn technically - the transparency effects are particularly impressive.

Does this game control any better with the saturn wheel? There were a bunch of Saturn racing games that absolutely needed the wheel, and I've only ever played R on the Gems collection.
