I beat this game some time ago, but there's still some parts of it I didn't really understand. I barely used those underground tunnels and shit. Very weird game, loved it.

Why does no one ever talk about Gold/Silver or Crystal? They work on GB and GBC (or even the SNES) so those games count as retro. I think the Gen 1 pokemon games aren't all that good.

because Red and Blue were revolutionary at the time and loved by retarded retrofags because they're old and bad yet similar enough to their modern equivalent to be playable by modern standards if you know pokemon.
I'm the same way, Gen1 is awful. If you want a Kanto game you're better off in virtually every way just playing FRLG. And even though GSC are much better I think HGSS are just about completely superior too
Get Medarot 1. The Wonderswan version is better but this is still good. Also, if you want GBC games too the rest of the franchise is mostly on the GBC.
