What's the best flashcart for snes?
Is it SD2SNES? Does that come with it's own flash card or will I need to buy one as well? Is it even worth getting at this point since it looks like krikzz.com is dead?

3DO was japanese (panasonic) and I believe it does have a few japan-only games that make its library better than the western one although I'm not entirely sure.

Yes N64 has a better catalogue, pretty much every game the west has plus stuff like Sin and Punishment, Bangai-O, Wonder Project J2, Super Robot Wars 64, Shiren the wanderer 2.
Although I think it didn't got some games like Killer Instinct Gold (Japan also didn't got the first KI on SFC), and maybe the Midway games, so maybe the best thing to do for the N64 is to have games from both west and Japan, but I'd still say Japan got the better deal.
Anyway the N64, like the SNES, is easy to mod to play JP games. All you need is a gamebit and something to cut plastic.
