So apparently David Bowie had a vidya
Did /vr/ play it?
It's ok. Bowie wrote some original songs for it but barely had any lines in game though.
It's a slooooow sandbox.

I always wanted to play it but then i knew about David Cage.

David Cage games are pretentious faux movies with illegible stories, this game gets a pass though because it's cyberpunk I guess.

Exactly. I also hate that guy.

Except Omikron has actual gameplay, unlike his modern games.
It was free for a week but I CBA to download it

It's not cyberpunk.

There's some light platforming, first person shooter, and fighting game segments all using different sets of controls from each other. I played for a few hours, but the game is never really difficult in any way. I don't know if it gets harder since I stopped when you leave the first area. The most notable feature apart from the abrupt genre shifts is that you get to possess various characters, many of them optional but they have different stats. The story is fucking stupid and involves demons using Omikron (as in the actual game) as a means to capture souls. The player character is also supposed to be you, but more or less acts like their own entity, which is a little odd. It's worth playing for a bit to soak in the atmosphere if you like that sort of thing though.

I'm starting to think Cage shoves in retarded shit in his games on purpose as some sick joke.
