Which Genesis 2 model is the best to get? I've heard one of them has horrible sound, and I work a game store which has a Model 2 for sale, and I want to make sure it's the best one before I buy it.

model 1 gennies have the best sound, and headphone output which is wicked. Model 2 can be good or bad, depends. Model 3 sucks dick and balls
Turn it over and look at the metal plate inside the vents, if you see this, it's shit.
If you see this, you're good.
Model 1 still is superior, but if you're dead set on a Model 2, this is the one you want.

Not that rare. I came across 3 on ebay just last week for 20 bucks or less, and those were only the ones I could confirm because the seller took pictures of the bottom. There may have been more.

And if you use RGB then you have to deal with shit load of buzzing audio, unless you splurge for expensive shielded cables, make your own cables, or connect the headphone connector directly to an amp (but in that case you are using a model 1 anyway, not the model 2 like OP asked).

Just don't get tricked into getting an Asian one. They show up new in box from time to time, but they lack RF shielding and video/audio output is horrible.
