Hey lads if you turn on a SNES with a game inserted will it display

Hey lads if you turn on a SNES with a game inserted will it display the game if there is no controller connected to the console?

The NES will.
So will the Master System II and Mega Drive.
The Master System II doesn't even have to have a game inserted but you know what I mean.

My guess is no because the N64 won't either but it would be nice if somebody could confirm.

The SNES plays just like there was a controller hooked up. The N64 just asks you to insert a controller.

yeah, the only system I can think of that does things differently when no controller is connected is the N64, and that's because it had memory paks to read.
