Can you beat Punch out on an emulator on a LCD? I have no trouble with beating Super Punch Out but I just can't get trough the original one.
>>
And I mean if you can beat it with enjoyment. There are some moments that ask for frame perfect reaction. You could probably beat it by anticipating those moments but those wouldn't be fun in any way.

I don't see why you couldn't.

Are you one of those donkeys that believes all lcd's have inherent lag?
Find a t.v. with low response time and you're good to go retard
>>
>>2916682
are you one of those monkeys that believe response time is the only measure that affects lag?
Even with a low response time it's going to go through a deinterlacer (unless it's intelligent enough to detect 240p) and an upscaler introducing lag. No matter how good the response time.
Maybe if you could find an SD LCD screen, but good luck finding that.

Why the hell are you so hostile in a thread like this? Quit being an asshole and just answer the question.

Maybe you should let your emulator handle the upscaling instead of a TV.

he's probably from /v/

This.

Calm down, show some restraint, you're acting like a woman on her period.

Sakurai is wrong about many things, but not which game is the original Punch-Out!!
>>
Sure.

It's just going to be an extra challenge not having that extra 3/4 of a second to respond.

Good fucking luck against Mikey Tysonovich.

>all lcd's have inherent lag?
They do. But with a very good LCD it might be as low as 10ms, which you can compensate for with emulator frame delay and a fast CPU.

I never got past Tyson on an LCD myself, although maybe with some more practice I could do it.
