How does one get into collecting?
I have a knock off NES I bought for $20 and Mach Rider, Kung Fu, and Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt. I also have an Atari 2600 Jr. with Berzerk and Yar's Revenge. Now what?*
Okay so the next part is the most difficult and time consuming one.
Make sure you read through this comprehensive advise I am going to give to you, many many times.
Alright are you ready??
The next step is to buy more games.
Good luck

You're picking a really bad time to be a collector. Most collectors started by picking up games from local swap meets and thrift stores, but people are quickly discovering that used classic games go for A LOT online. Plus, now that FUCKING GAMESTOP buys old console games, even fewer people are donating them to charities or selling them at garage sales.
The only thing you have going for you is that you don't own much, so finding something you don't already have should be a bit easier. But if you're in my boat, it's so hard to find things nowadays.Best catch I ever got was Duck Tales 2, the NES version, from a thrift store for 7 bucks. But that was about 8 years ago. Happy hunting though.
