STUN Runner, Zarlor Mercenary and Warbirds were the best. That said, I should've bought a fucking game boy.
Also, fuck Batman Returns, Pit Fighter and Ninja Gaiden

>6 D batteries
>Hook it to your belt or attach it to a shoulder strap to carry the extra power YOU NEED
At least they're honest.
>>2904332
I had to carry that extra power every god damn where
Lynx is notable for being almost impossible to emulate correctly, because of the variable refresh rate (50/60/75Hz) screen. Very few displays will sync to all of those, and I'm not aware of any emulator that even attempts to handle it correctly. But Lynx games usually have terrible framerate anyway for it's no great loss.

I remember this ad well. Spring 93. I wanted a lynx because of this ad/pullout.

Back when packin games were epic!
The box arts better than the games.

Such a piece of amazing hardware released too early. I think it could outpace GB and even compete with GBA...
May as well bump this before it 404s
Snagged pic related for 60 quid
Got Gates of Zendocon, S.T.U.N Runner, Super Skweek, Klax and Zarlor Mercenary on the way too. The Lynx is still nice and cheap to get into
Lynx is mint btw. Might attempt a recap as the speaker is quiet. Also McWill screen mod if I can justify the expense to the Retron5
>>2913380
Add Joust to that list too...
Damn I love this thing!
>>2913380
Zendocon, Skweek and Klax arrived. Played Zendocon to level 17 of 51, cool game. Skweek looks excellent but I need a good session to master it. Klax I haven't bothered much with yet.
On a hardware level I stripped the thing down and removed some minor debris from between the LCD and plastic cover which was tickling my autism. Cleaned and treated all the connector surfaces as I reassembled and the buttons now seem a little more responsive than before - could be placebo but whatever. Definitely wants a recap I think to fix the quiet speaker and perhaps a replacement driver if that's ineffective. Screen replacement will have to wait until I get paid - €90 - but it's definitely on the cards.

Care to explain what you think is wrong with the visuals?
This baby was doing things with sprites that nothing else short of arcade hardware could do back in '89. Including plausible imitation of 3D polygon graphics. Pretty impressive for a handheld...
