Started re-playing Knights of Xentar/Dragon Knight III and I'm really enjoying the combination of old school JRPG and random sleaze.
The writing is actually funny at times. And it's only as a grown-ass man that I've picked up on the reference of the rich guy in the first village, "Frump", who lives in "Frump Tower". What a doozy!
Are there any similar games available in english? Any old games that have been fan translated recently?
Also sleazy retro games in general, I guess.

Literally starting naked is a nice way to make fun of RPG tropes. The villagers have some interesting reactions to that.
The German version is a kult klassik since every unimportant NPC got a nice voice.

I don't know about that. Maybe it's because of the translation, but I get the impression that the game is taking the piss most of the time. Kinda takes the edge off things.
Tonally it reminds me of the happy go lucky pornos from the 70s. I mean, there's a scene where you come across Snow White engaged in bondage with a bunch of cheeky dwarves. I can't imagine anyone wanking to that.

But there's a part in the middle of the game where it pulls an "Excalipur/Excalibur" thing like in the FF games. It made me ragequit in the middle of playing the game because a boss battle seemed impossible. And lost my savegame.
Rance series has all the retro games translated as well as the two related Toushin Toshi games.
Otherwise there's Mad Paradox and Cobra City. Remakes of the two Raidy games are also translated.

I would happily translate the jap-only games of this series as I have experience with ASM and hex modding, but I need someone with knowledge in Japanese. Basically, I only need to extract the text data and send to this person to translate.

I played the series and now have a decent grasp of Japanese. I'm more concerned about my ability to translate it to English.
My versions of choice would be PCE for 1, PC-98 for 2 and 3.
4 is complicated matter where most versions have their own flaws and merits.

Could you describe your proficiency with these languages a bit more? Also, what's your native language?
We could start by translating some keywords and then proceed to more complex parts, like dialogues. I will continue to look for other people to help in the process.

I played the uncensored version of the game. Well is a nice piece of game in Anime stile.

How uncensored? The original PC-98 version had unpixelated genitals, further computer releases were censored in the wake of the Saori incident.
Megatech used that version even though the Japanese laws didn't apply to them.
