what retro vidya will you guys be playing during new years eve?
FF7 and Ikaruga. Prolly R Type 3
I bought a bunch of platformers I already played because I had extra money in my 3ds wallet. Kirby dream land 1 and 2, SMB and Sonic 1. Should be able to finish them all pretty quick.
Also got Shovel Knight but that doesn't count.

I just got a new PS1 controller and I'm going to delve into some King's Field II (Japan)
Still trying to beat that fucking kraken near the starting point. I'm level 11 and just got the bow. Unfortunately, not even 40+ arrows seem to faze the kraken.
I've started OoT today (never played it before), so I guess I'll be playing it. I'm also going to eat food and watch Char's Counterattack.

I started Link's Awakening DX while on a trip earlier this week. I'm back home now but will probably still be on it tomorrow.

I tried it on a GBC some and settled on mostly using the SP because of the screen, but the constant hitting Start to switch equipment in this game is definitely more comfortable on the GBC's wider, non-recessed start button.
I'm waiting on a bunch of SNES games in the mail, so I'll be playing Giga Wing and Batsugun on an emulator.

OoT is seriously the most overrated thing on the internet. Much more so than FF7 or any other title. Zelda fanboys who cling to the series are worse cancer than CoD Fags. There's a reason the series ie dying in Japan, it's stale stagnant shit. Link Between Worlds was the last chance your franchise had, and it was just okay.
