What is the retro gaming console with less violent video games, and very more games for all ages and all audiences?
>>
the tiger gamecom wait that induces user violence
>>
>>2875691
no, it has to be a console, which has almost no violent games.

Moreover if you have no violent game, and all games are for all age groups best for me
>>
I remember you made this thread before.

The only answer is: just don't buy games with violence if that bothers you.
>>
>>2875695
yep and op has no understanding
>>
>>2875695
Well, what are

But that has nothing retro games of violence?
>>
>>2875683

I hate people like you. Just let your kids play the same shit everyone else plays, faggot.
>>
>>2875683
Elaborate.

There are plenty of games for all audiences on current generation consoles. I'd go as far to say there are LESS games geared towards full spectrum audience on retro consoles.

>>2875758
Fuck off. There most certainly are ages when certain games are appropriate.
>>
>>2875683
Well, the obvious answer would be to not go to consoles at all if you don't want violence. Adventure games are fairly low violence and are mostly on PC.
>>
Lame edutainment consoles like Sega Pico and Leapster and V Smile
>>
What kind of violence are you trying to avoid?

If you're trying to avoid blood and gore, then anything before Sega Genesis. The NES wouldn't license games with blood in them.

If you're looking to avoid games that are entirely about punching, then you may have to go Atari. Get an Atari 400; the graphics are better and there's lots of arcade ports.

If spaceships shooting at each other is too much, then take up knitting or something instead.

To answer your question, either the NES or SNES would probably be good, but almost every retro console has a wide variety of age appropriate games.

A couple notes though:
1. If they're too young to be experiencing 16-bit violence, do you really expect them to be running through a large portion of the consoles library? Even in the 16-bit era, games were much more difficult then than they are now.

2. Please don't be the cool dad that makes their kid play retro games. Let him develop his own taste. A 3DS would be a pretty good choice if he wants a video game console.

3. Are you really that concerned with violence in retro games? Outside of Mortal Kombat and Splatterhouse, I can't think of any absurdly gory games for retro consoles.

4. A Wii with Virtual Console games would probably be a better investment than a retro console.

>There most certainly are ages when certain games are appropriate.

Which is why games even have ratings on the box now. Let your child choose their own games.
>>
let the kid play fucking skylanders or minecraft or whatever they play these days

forcing a retro console on him will probably turn him autistic and then he'll be that weird kid

fuck you op
>>

>Pixelated "violence," non-Abrahamic religious references and gay characters in muh vidya is unsavory! The media shouldn't inhibit my efforts to shelter my children and indoctrinate them with intense feelings of fear, paranoia and hatred toward the real world!

Reactionaries like you are the very reason censorship exists in the first place. Fuck off.

>Which is why games even have ratings on the box now.

I in zero way, shape, or form disputed that. In fact, your statement actually supports mine.

>Let your child choose their own games
Maybe not literally. If by that you mean choose games based on your child's behavior and maturity level, then by all means..
>>
The SEGA Pico
>>
>>2875683
Atari is probably the way to go if you want that but, why limit a kid? I had contra when I was 6 it was great
>>
>>2876748
Atari consoles contained porn games.
And some of those porn games had sexual violence.
>>
On the other hand, which system (excluding PC) had the more violent and/or lewd games?
>>
What exactly are we talking about when we say violence?

Just graphic violence, or no shooting, fighting or anything like that.

Is Duck Hunt acceptable?

IRL jumping on a turtle is a kind of a violent and messy act when you think about it.

Is the fly thing in Yar's Revenge blowing up the fuck knows what violent? I mean I guess it's violent by definition, but the there's nothing graphic there and nothing resembles human, so is that ok?

But to answer your question, Nintendo consoles tend to be lighter on violence than their competitors, though obviously not free from it.

The only consoles free from violent games would be those ones specifically marketed to kids, I can think of a couple but they aren't retro, they have a very small library, and they certainly don't have games for all ages.
>>
SNES. That was the kiddy console.
>>
>>2875683
How can you have children when you have no balls, pussy
