So, I've found this Atari in my basement and I want to know what version is that, I know it's a 2600 but I can't find no picture of that model. It's not the Darth Vader because it just have 3 buttons.

I'd say it was probably a demo unit considering it has hardwired controllers

Really?
Anything on the underside?
>>2875001
I've never seen this model, it's pretty cool. Clean it up man!

Polyvox, Brazilian licensee.
It's a knock off. Clone. Cheap reproduction, of which there were thousands in the seventies. The hardware was incredibly easy to reproduce, and almost every department store chain had the own version. Regardless, its nothing special. Just another atari system. Get some good games and have a blast. Personal favorite of mine is Yars Revenge.

These were legit, parent company Gradiente built licensed Nintendo consoles too. Especially in those days, the govt. in Brazil was really big on insisting that things be manufactured locally, same reason they had so many unusual local car models.

This is the same reason the master system remained one of the best selling consoles in Brazil even up to as recently as a few years ago. There's a ton of weird Brazilian Atari stuff too, the whole country's gaming landscape is actually kind of fascinating just because of how oddly different it is from literally everywhere else.

They are different? How?
>>2875538
It had a lot of locally made hardware and form factors that were unique to Brazil and Brazil only. No Atari console form factor anywhere else has switches like the game select/reset buttons on the system in OP's pic, at least not any that I've seen.

That's cool

Damn, they were really impressive, search about the Dactar Maleta, that was a really unique thing

>Google translate is shit
Fill us in, Brazilbro. This looks interesting, I love hearing about weird Atari-related stuff. Is it just a 2600 built into a suitcase?
>>2875719
Yes that was a 2600 clone build on a 007 suitcase style, pretty interesting tho
