Better graphics, resolution and soundtrack, it's based on the megadrive version so if you played the snes you'll find the level design a bit weird.
The only way to run this thing on a modern os is to install windows 3.1 on dosbox and mount it to cd-rom drive, pretty annoying.

Other than graphics it's identical to the megadrive port. Also, play on hard mode.

I tried running it on win7 but no luck, I guess it's because it's 64 bit. Anyway, great game, hg101 actually has a surprisingly decent article on it and the cancelled sequel, they even managed to interview some developers.

If anything would benefit from GOG or a big community picking it up for patching, games like this would be it.
