Would anyone here be interested in playing CS with /vr/?
I know there are Steam groups for /vr/ games but a lot of them seem dead, so I have no clue if this would be a lost cause if put together. Even if it just lasted a week I'd be happy.

I know /vr/ has DOOM multiplayer servers, but we really should expand into other games like Quake and Team Fortress (quake/half-life), and counter-strike.

There's already a /v/ server for CS if that makes a difference to you. There's crossover but honestly I'd think anyone bothering with CS would mostly /v/ compatible in the first place. You could always play on that with vr tags. I'd agree with the specialist, but a group would probably be better and play on what's left of dead servers.
I'd be down if it was pirated because somehow I dont have it legit.

I have been playing different versions of cs for ages and have never hacked, lot of people accuse me though and I do see a lot of hackers.
If you report someone and they get banned you get a notification in csgo

Ive never played cs since 1.6 so I wouldn't know.
Things may be different know but as far as I know there was a big CSGO scandal not too long ago where pro teams were caught cheating all their career.

He's not wrong to pirate instead. Supporting steam is pretty garbage thing to do. It's not only digital DRM which itself is shit, but it's terrible digital DRM that doesn't even allow you to play more than one of your games you own a license to on multiple computers. So if you have three computers up and you wanna let two friends or your kids play, nope, can't do it. That's basically the most utmost scummy thing they can do - not let you play the games you paid for.

Before steam the game already had copy protection in the form of CD keys. Two people with the same key couldn't play in the same server.
