Can anyone rec some more racing games like Mario Kart 64, Diddy King Racing and CTR? Also Racing games general
Konami Krazy Racers (but GBA not retro)
And it's not as cartoony, but the Wipeout series is awesome as far as high speed racing with weapons goes.

It's pretty good although I don't find it nearly as fun as any of the ones you mentioned.
Lego Racers is another cart game with items and such, and Snowboard Kids is really awesome if you want to count that.

MotorToon Prix was made by the people who would make Grand Turismo on the PS1. It's a good game
Micro Machines 64 of course.
I remember this being fun. Not kart racing, it's more like the Micromachine games.

can someone post those choice webms of Looney Tunes Space Race? They look better than the youtube vids of the game online, perhaps the webms are of emulator-enhanced footage? Either way they're amazing to look at.
road rash/need for speed
The controls/handle are so goddamn shitty but you just have to adjust to them if you want to play. Pretty basic but for what it's worth I still enjoyed this game quite a bit. It's got a cool weapons system and some nice midi jams.
