Ok. Help me out. This has been bothering me for ages.

It was a game that came in an Spanish CD full of demos sometime in 1996-ish, but this was the only complete one. It was a game like Pang/Buster Bros. that gave you the option to play as a male anime character or a female one.

The thing is that, if you managed to finish the first level, this porn image of the female protagonist appeared until you pressed a button (nothing hardcore. I think it was her with her legs spread open, but smiling, as if she just came out of the shower and was drying herself). The second level was hard as fuck -or as hard as fuck for 10 year old me- and I never knew if there were any other images.

That's all I can remember. It was in English -even if the CD was Spanish- and it, obviously, ran on a PC with MS-DOS/Windows.

Please, I need to know at least the name of this game.
>>
Ok, so, I've got a couple games from my childhood that I can't seem to identify. Both of which I suspect are garbage, but I'll die easier knowing what they were called.

The first game was for the SNES. The protagonists were a young boy and girl. I think they also had the ability to turn into a robot kid? Or maybe they just summoned him? You someone were able to go from playing as the kids to a robot kid. I think the perspective of the game was a top-down LoZ: A Link to the Past point of view.

The second game was an adventure game for the N64. I don't think there was any combat, just puzzles and exploration through some sorta castle/mansion. I remember fiddling with different colors of potions for your inventory.
>>
((I've posted this several times))

Sometimes I wonder if I just dreamt about this. I'll give the cliffnotes of what I remember.

-Played it around 2000-2001
-Possibly had "Shadow" in the title?
-Very ugly graphics, even for the time
-Multiplayer to some degree, I remember it having some form of chat room
-Divided into levels, in the first level you explored a crypt and there was a big dragon at the end
-Second level was a snowy forest with giants and unicorns, I don't think I ever beat it

In a previous thread, somebody suggested "Crypt" by Jagex. I don't think this was it, however I can't find enough information on that game to prove otherwise.
>>
>>2836186
>chat room

So, it was on the PC?

>>2836180
Also, I just identified the N64 game. Shadowgate 64. I remember being confused and intrigued with this, since I'd never played a game that didn't include some manner of combat.
>>

>>
>>2836207
Nah. I wish I could think of more details. I'm worried that I might even have the perspective wrong. I just know for certain that there were two kids you played as that appeared to transform into or summon some sorta robot kid.

Got some i cant recall the title: Sega CD for Sure One Game was some kind of Top Gun/ Ace Combat type feel. Had planes being shot down or industrial plants or military stuff being bombed by you in cockpit, pilot was computer, was shot in real time like a movie,, there was a level where you are supposed to take out a bridge over a canyon where at a precise time before a convoy crosses the bridge, you launch a missile, problem is it hard to do if you fail, it flashes to a video cut scene of a hand turning a knob on control panel, the plane turning around, angry black mission commander gets on com yelling out you, "you just cost millions of people their lives you outta here!", and he forces you to eject yourself out of the cockpit.

Another one also Sega Cd some kind of detective games, had nice grpahic certain scenes I recall you could do thing like walk out of your apt without clothes on be arrested by cops, the your character says "Maybe Next time I should'nt walk out without any pants on"
You open a sewer manhole or something "My God what a stink!" Talking to a homeless guy pic of him looks like a crazy asian guy, "We are all doomed! Doomed!" You: Maybe you should ease up on the rotgut old man"

Another game I think it might have been Sega Genesis, maybe NES . I recall a stage some kind of industrial plant futuristic looking, driving in a gray and white vehicle, shooting enemies, could drive horizontally if needed, I think the vehicle had a tank turret on it.
>>
>>2837650
1st one is Sewer Shark

last one sounds like Outlanders

I've asked about this game in every one of these threads I've seen, and while it took over a year, someone found an earlier request, so hopefully this will be found as well.

Its an RPG/Maybe Roguelike game where death is permanent, you start in your own house, limbs have their own health, and upon entering new zones you get a message that was something along the lines of 'You have entered _____. You are considered _____ here.', with the second being a reputation of sorts. I believe your character's head was visible at all times (The other body parts shown were just rough outlines) by the limbs, and he was bald. It was Freeware/shareware, and I most likely got it at download.com. A common suggestion given is IVAN, but I'm very familiar with IVAN, and it's not it.
>>
>One starts in a spaceship and you can check planets with their stats and names.
>The other starts in a spaceship, it crashes on the planet. When you leave it, one of the first things you see its a cow.
Might be the same game.

>DOS game on a CD
>I don't know if it was technically an educational game but it was definitely one of those adventure/strategy games for little kids
>story involves a brother and sister, you can play as either the boy or girl
>I think it begins with them walking down a path in a forest
>your sibling (the gender you didn't pick) gets kidnapped by someone/something (a witch?)
>the other sibling chases them into a cabin or house in the woods
>they jump into a painting or picture hanging on the wall?
>I think this is where the game officially starts; you have to use a ladder you find in the room to get in
>after going through the painting you find yourself in some parallel dimension (like Mario64 lol), and the game takes place there
>the setting you arrive in is a dark forest, I think (pic attached is the closest I could find to the art style of the background)
>I'm almost certain it was a point and click (but side-scrolling?)
>you would find these items that go in your inventory and you use them (single use..?) at appropriate places to get past obstacles and progress in the game (e.g. there was a part where you had to use your balloon to cross a chasm)
>there MIGHT have been some very simple voice acting, one-line things like, "I need something that'll fly me across here" when you get to the chasm...

To the anon from the last thread...: Where are you??! I hope you haven't forgotten about me!
Holy shit, I feel like the protagonist of a horror movie, when the protag finally manages to find someone who is able/willing to help them, but then this person dies a sudden and shocking death before they get to help them, crushing their hopes and leaving them once more to fend for themselves...
>>
Sega Cd game has a ship going after a computer. Opening is anime style green haired woman with British accent
>>
>>2838653
Thank you but it isn't that one. The planet stats came with a picture of the planet (the sphere over a black background).
The spaceship wreck was a more "serious" game in tone, you got out of the ship looking for resources and it was in a mountain.

I failed to recover this 2 games I used to play when I was younger.

Game 1:Old dos game. You are a guy throwing knives at undead monsters and skeletons in a cemetery. I have no clue about the name.

Game 2: old game where you pilot o submarine with a detachable smaller submarine pod. You had to be fast because there was an air timer. The timer could be extended through air tanks

Started you off in a city with a wall to block off monsters. it was a top down rpg in the city and once you go past the wall and it had random encounters past the wall
Then if you went in to a cave it became a fp dungeon crawler.

Never got past that first city but outside the walls was a desert.

My memories of this are vague and probably very inaccurate but here goes: Something from the Game Gear, I think it was a puzzle game that might have been in Japanese? And it used either playing cards or mahjong tiles. I don't remember what the puzzle part of it was. What really bugs me about it is that the game over music is really similar to this track from The World Ends With You. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F9BrsAqdWsk
I need to find out what this game was because my vague memory of the game over track is going to haunt me forever.

Windows 95 game, side scrolling platformer, has a bunch of levels each representing a different setting, one of which is a Jurassic Park theme. I also remember a space/steampunk level.

Well im more looking into the soundtrack of this game, rather than the game itself, ic ant seem to remember if it was a Sega CD game or a regular Megadrive one, but the music was incredible, the cover was a black 80's sport car on some kind of green parking space.
>>
This is a vague longshot but oh well...

I played this on PC in the late 90s. It was a really bizarre "game" in that you didn't progress through levels or anything (not that I remember). You would get a background and then it was kind of like ms paint, but you were placing 3d objects and shapes over the background. I remember some electronic music, and that you could also blow up the things that you placed.

Here's two games from my childhood. Both were PC games.

Trying to remember a few games I grew up with.

Basicly, I think the game looked, and played like Atlantis, you press button to go backwards and forward.

There was some type of church I think. Also, sometimes if you walked on a perticular road, there was a Minataur who kills you(?)

Okay, this is a shot in the dark, but maybe someone knows what I'm talking about.

So, it's a chess game, a cartoony one for the PC Win 95 I think? Not sure. Anyway, all the chess pieces in the game have heads/faces and when a chess piece gets taken said piece will hop up into the air, the square it was standing on will open up, the chess pieces head will then pop off and will all proceed to fall into the open hole which closes over it.

That's literally the most detailed thing I can remember from the game. The chess pieces might have talked... I don't rightly remember. I used to play this game in the school library..

computer game
played it before 2001
game was 2d graphics
tile based game
turn based game
you could own cities and rename them, you could own more than one city,
you had soldiers, planes, seaships...
was able to play against other players in a hotseat way if you wanted (not saying this was the only way to do it)

name was made of at least 2 words (that was able to be abreviated, like cd for counter strike and uo for ultima online), well it could be a one word name, the point here you could abreviate it

A game form about 2000-2005, it was about somewhat futuristic spaceship racing, you could choose your character, customize the vehicles, and also you could shoot up other racers. Horror game for computers. Definitely DOS or earlier, but I don't know enough about that era of home computing to know what it was. The only part I can remember seems to be one image of the opening cutscene. Surgery was being performed on a man's stomach and perhaps his guts, the whole body cavity completely open. You could see teeth scattered throughout, and also an eye looking out at the player. It was working, and the pupil looked around while text at the bottom of the screen told the backstory. There were more images like that, but that's the one that sticks out in my mind. The dominant colors were cyan (all the surgical stuff) and black (most of the background and outlines. Thinking about it, there must have been white and probably red, but I can't remember that. Any leads would be really helpful. Thanks for your time.

Hey /vr/ I apologise in advance for the absolute vagueness but this has been bothering me for ages and you guys have been very helpful in the past.

It was an arcade game, you progressed through levels vertically, going up one 'storey' once you cleared the one you're on of enemies.

I can't remember much else about it, but it was a very specific game, with a very particular design.
The one other thing I can think of is that the backgrounds of levels would be smut anime gurls that you'd see more of as you progressed through the level.

I've completely forgotten anything else about this very specific game but it was all the rage where I grew up cmon /vr/ help a friendly slav dumbass out

Going to be vague as all get-out here, so apologies

I have a memory from very young days of walking through toys-r-us and seeing some game demos. One I saw was something of an anomaly to me. It was a ball character rolling through a tube, they went left from a previous screen, slid down a hole, went left a bit more, then jumped (still a ball) out of the pit and onto a platform. They then began shooting laser beams, no longer a ball.

I want to say it's super metroid, because it was on a super nintendo, but I remember it being monochromatic, and I also remember the gameplay being much faster than super metroid. I'm doubtful anymore on the monochromatic part, but pretty confident of the speed. So I ask, is there another SNES game that might have been in store displays in the US in 1994-1996, likely on the super nintendo, which had a character that both stood upright and turned into a ball, could move vertically while in ball form, but could also shoot lasers while upright, that wasn't Super Metroid?
>>
>>2856157
You are tremendous!! Thank you very much!! Now I can finally relive better days.

I'm trying to remember two games.
The first one I saw it on an arcade and a magazine.
It was a fighting game WITH HUGE ASS SPRITES covering nearly the whole screen, I'm not even kidding.
The fighters looked like Prince Adam but on steroids and angrier, the one on the left had his back turned to the player and you saw your opponent's front. Each time one fell to the floor they rubbed their back and kept fighting.

The second one was a PC game much like Fredi Fish in the style it was for children and you could click ANYTHING and get a reaction or something, but not from the same company.
You could visit real life places like a hospital and it had a main hub which was a kid in his room.

Still looking for >>2837941 This one, but I just remembered another.

It was a shareware version of an RPG, you could pick class and maybe race, if race wasn't outright considered a class (For example, Vampire), and it spawned you in a monster zoo of sorts, where a bunch of enemies are trapped behind clear walls. You could walk around and maybe read descriptions of them or something. I'm not sure if I accidentally freed one or if it was part of the demo, but I remember a vampire getting out somehow and killing me. Might've turned invisible, too.

I know this sounds very similar to DCSS, but it absolutely wasn't. this was definitely a demo of sorts, and I almost certainly got it at download.com somewhere between 1998-2001.

Okay, since no one seems to know the chess one, I'll try a different one.

Again, it was something I played in the school library (which is really surprising because it was a bloody FPS)

Like Doom, but it was based on the American Civil War. In between levels there would be some BS text lesson on some battle or aspect of the war.

I remember you could man cannons and gatling guns n' shit and it was just as bloody as Doom.

Never did pay attention to what the title was.

the name of the game had something of ''nightmare'' on the tittle. it was a old fps like doom and wolfenstein. you start with no guns and in the first level you find a chainsaw. when you die the screen turns red and a mutilated face slowly starts to get near you
>>
>>2857212
If it had a roar when it booted up sounds like a jaguar racing game. You sure it was n64?
>>
it was for the SNES
i don't think it was real-time action
the save menu had three slots and on the left side of each slot there would be an axe, denoting your progress (basic wooden grip + metal blade at the beginning and a golden axe later at some point)
you fought a bug monster at some point (not a boss, it was a regular encounter)

This is going to be pretty vague but.....

Anywhere from 1998-2001 I had a game sampler cd that was titled "100 great pc games" or something along those lines.the only prominent game that stood out to me was jazz jackrabbit 2.that being said-there were quite a few games that were chess,checkers,yahtze,ect...

THE GAME I'M LOOKING FOR

Is this independent maze-esque game where you played as an almost chestnut like character.the objective was to collect keys to get to other levels and avoid bad guy's.

The reason this game stuck out to me so much is because

A.) the game was incredibly low budget

B.) Whenever the character fell into a hole he would scream bloody murder.and this was a scream I can hardly believe would be allowed in a children's game.

The maze are was in deep space and the maze was composed of mostly grey blocks.

The game had a title along the lines of Mr. Something....

It would help me relive a great time in my childhood if anyone can help me out.

Ok, so once I played a dungeon crawler on PC (probably DOS title, but I played it on Win98), it was most similar to Eye Of The Beholder, but had way shittier graphics (typical for 90' shareware games). It had an intro wich showed a room (maybe with a treasue chest), and later a king with copy-pasted guards at each side of him.
The most similar game I found was Black Crypt, but that wasn't it (that's an amiga title). Another game that's looks kinda similar is The Infernal Tome, but again, that's not it.

Also, for some reason I remember it having to do something with Sunstorm Interactive (I visted their site way back then because of this game, where I learn that these guys made the Duke Nukem expansion packs), but I found nothing even remotely similar to this in their catalouge.

Hi VR
I am looking for one game but it is going to be painful to describe. Ill do my best:

It was an rpg, dos/win 95, medieval or fantasy. You had a group of heroes and you walked around a forest killing monsters (that is the only bit I actually remeber about this game, i think what i had was a demo or shareware). It looked like early version of baldurs gate with its top down / isometric view but with lower resolution. I definately remember a dude with a blonde hair with either an axe or bow. (Similar to ranger in blood & magic game). I remember you looted chests of gold and you also looted corpses of what you killed.

More obscure things I remember about it are: I *think* the name of the game started with M

I remember that the game had bery specific graphics / resolution (this is probably the most obscure thinv I remember about this game). The best i can describe it is when you play first Descent game and you opened the map, the map there was displayed in that exact style/resolution/standard vga graphics as was the whole game I am looking for. Thats why i remember this game because as a teen when I played it I thought it was beautiful. Really amazing looking game for the time.

I know its not much but maybe someone knows what I am looking for. I am looking for that game for years, and the f name of it ;) thx for any help
>>
Okay, this is like my 10 attempt in the last year to figure this out.
It was a pc game, must have been between 98-2000

The main character was a young redhead mad scientist type who was competing/fighting his evil twin or maybe evil clone. You fought him by solving a variety of puzzles like guiding 3 lasers into their color coded goals and I remember something like complicated mastermind. When you solve a puzzle, you'd get an item. When you ran into your twin at random places, you would both use items in these cutscenes and if you had the counter item, you could use that. I think one of the items was a megaphone and the counter item was ear muffs.
>>
This has been driving me crazy, leading me down all sorts of paths to find

You played as a tiny blue wizard like to pixels tall. It was a platformer. One of the spells you had was featherfall and I remember that your main attack was like a silver/gray spark thing with some particle coming from it.

2D graphics. PC game. Probably released in mid-late 90s. I think he had a beard.
