Colin McRae Rally (2 for me was the pinnacle).
I tremendously enjoyed Lego Racers. It was fun to build your own cars. It was easily trivialized with max upgrade green block spam, but always fun.

I remember a rally game name liked that which I had tons of fun with with my brother.
Howeve rI'm not sure this is a same game, it was more like a "fun unrealistic" rally game, with several opponents at the same time, wider courses and you could play in split screen 2player too.
The car and the spectators sprites look familiar though.

BC Racers is tons of fun. I've played the PC version and the 32x version, which seemed quite different, but I honestly can't tell which is best.
All I remember is that IIRC on PC the 2 player mode was 1 player driving and the other using the weapons to hit opponents, while Sega CD has split screen. Or maybe that's just how we played the SP mode on PC with 2 players...

I think putting 3 NFS in there was a bad idea. The genre's more diverse than that. The two rally games are a bit too similar. I suppose it was intentional that this 3x3 only has 3D racing games?

Carmageddon is laps, I think (nobody ever does the laps). Also I never liked its brutality. Midtown Madness did a smart thing with its dodging pedestrians
MegaRace is pretty neat but takes time to get good enough to enjoy.
I think the fist Micro Machines is the only good one. Could not get into the newer ones. Check out Toybox Turbos for a modern take also by Codemasters.
S.C.A.R.S on 64 is not bad for it's time but today you can see all of it's dumb glitches and outer space physics.
Cruse'n Exotica is the pinnacle of the series since it had varied roads instead of the USA and World were it was mostly straight tracks. Fast and Furious arcade is today's Cruise'n but I don't even see it at any arcades anymore.

That menu requires a webm. The constantly changing fonts were insane. Also, the levels were a lot of fun, although a bit shallow.

They are all quite similar IIRC.

The Dreamcast version has the cleanest rendering but feels cheap due to the textures being shitty compared to other Dreamcast games. The higher FPS also exploits how static the environment is which takes away from the experience in my opinion. If you only care about Gameplay though then Dreamcast is the version for you. N64 if you are a Nintendo loyalist.

Need help identifying a game.
It was an arcadey ps1 game, and it had a transforming gimmick (like into a boat). I think the first car you unlock is a jeep.
