Dragon Crystal. I had a very small collection when I had a gamegear though.

I've never owned a Game Gear, I might pick one up next time I'm in my local game store, they sell them for $30 with a few common games.

Columns forever.
Super Columns is very underrated. Sega expanded on the Columns formula by introducing several new magic gems, and allowing the player to rotate columns in the same style as Tetris.
There's actually a story mode in this one. You have to play several versus matches against CPU opponents, and accumulating large chains will give you power-ups and spells you can unleash on your opponent.
Other suggestions: If you like shooters, Aleste GG, Power Strike II and Fantasy Zone Gear. Shining Force II: Sword of Hayja for strategy. The GG Shinobi series for platforming / action-adventure.

My favourite gg game is probably streets of rage. I loved that game. My brother's is defenders of oasis though. He actually beat it, I never got around to it. Shout outs to sonic, shinobi and micro machines tho. 2 players on 1 gg!
Sonic Drift 2 and TaleSpin are the two games I spent the most time on with my Game Gear.

Tails' Adventure
While I was always a Gameboy guy, I do love playing Dragon Crystal on the 3DS Virtual Console. Gamegear bros had some awesome seeming games, shame the console was not as big/popular as it should have been.
