I recently purchased the famicom version of Karnov, mostly to check out the manual and box. It's one of my favorite old games. I would like to know what they say, if anyone would be kind enough to translate.

I don't really know Japanese but with the text you can try and run it through a machine translator or something and get a general idea.

Do "Teppou Mizo" and "Chiryuu" mean anything particular, or are they just names?

Teppoumizu means "flash flood."
遅竜
Chiryuu is "slow dragon" or "dumb dragon."

Teppou Mizu (鉄砲水) is basically Watergun
Chiryuu (遅竜) uses the kanjis for "slow" and "dinosaur", so I guess Sluggish Rex would maybe be a decent name?
