Your most memorable /vr/ sound effect?
Mine would have to be the "whoo" noise the enemy cannon fodder make in the Spider-Man arcade game. You could hear it so distinctly over all of the other arcade cabinets. Hell, you could hear it over everyone bowling.

Well, that or the 20th Red Coin in Yoshi's Island
The noise some bosses, like the two giant mini bosses in stage 2, in Castlevania New Generation. This stands out because the Mega Drive port of Mercs makes a similar noise when you get the life bonus.

Tim Allen is a magnificent scumbag. He was due to spend the rest of his life in jail for trafficking/dealing coke. He rolled over on everyone he was in business with and avoided it. Shitty human being for being drug dealer. Shitty human being because coward.

Calm down kid, as much as you hate to admit it the real world is about yourself and how you use the people and objects around you. Sometimes you step on people some times you get stepped on, but that's life.

Maybe it was just me but growing up it was really special to me when a game had any kind of actual speech
It was rare, specially in the NES days and it always caught me off guard.
They also always stuck with me
examples
Bart Vs The Space Mutants
"COOL, MAN" - At the start
"Eat My Shorts!" - after every time you died
The "SEGA" at the start of every sonic game
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3: "Cowabunga!" when you start the game
Also the arcade TMNT game had a lot of speech
"Fire! Hang On April!"
"Attack!"
"Tonight I dine on turtle soup!"
Bebop: "You're dead!"
your turtle: "They ain't gettin' any prettier!"
Bebop: "Watch your mouth, slimeball!"
Rocksteady: "Say your prayers, toitles!"
Also Altered beast, the infamous "Wise fwom your gwave!" on the genesis
Awesome Possum, shitty game but full of speech, to the point it grated on your fucking nerves
EarthWorm Jim had a lot of speech
Basically audible speech was always memorable to me in the 8 and 16 bit eras

It is, it entered public domain a few years back and was picked up by Panasonic, the majority maker of cash registers.
