So iirc, if it's a NEW game, but released for an OLD system, it's still vr right?
because I want to talk about this
someone made a Dark Souls de-make for the ZX Spectrum
also general Spectrum thread I suppose. It was basically the British Commodore 64 wasnt it?

>This board is for the discussion of classic, or "retro" games. Retro gaming means consoles, computer games, arcade games (including pinball) and any other forms of video games on platforms launched in 1999 and earlier.
Apparently it only applies to the platform itself not the games.
Homebrew games of the last year are definitely not retro, but I still think they are relevant to this board.
Holy shit.
Where can I find this?
I will literally buy a spectrum to play this. I need this in my life.

Spectrum was more of a low-cost alternative for chavs that couldn't afford a Commodore or Amstrad,

If the platform is retro, any game that runs on it is /vr/ material.

Souls was really fun and well-made. The most interesting things to me are the difficult section you don't need to visit as long as you don't open the door to it (All that's behind it eventually is a key) and that in order to progress at one point you have to walk into a wall that you're given no clues that it's possible. No graphic clues, no obvious dead end.
