If everyones into it I love Gauntlet Legends, but most people find it boring.
Usually just something like mario party, or the most likely scenario is we play a single player game and just pass off the controller.

People who try to use it as a proper fighting game are tryhards.
Bomberman on the Saturn and Power Stone 2 on the Dreamcast were awesome. My friends had Saturns too back in the day, so getting 10 controllers together was easy. Good times.

Saturn Bomberman > Super Bomberman 5 > Mega Bomberman
The second best party game series is Micro Machines (on the Genesis/Mega Drive).
Of course, the Mario Kart & Party games are a lot of fun, too.
