As I recall, they aren't actually real flames, they just get the sensation of being burned by flames.

They never get touched by any flames retard. They have stunt sprites for shit like that and any thing to dangerous for that they use computer graphics.

I miss Mortal Kombat with those digitized sprites.

Here's one you can't answer: why does getting thrown hurt anybody in any fighting game? Not talking about getting slammed into the ground or some kind of hold, just a regular throw. Falling flat on their ass shouldn't do jack to those guys.
