I didn't have the game but I had a demo disc with it on there. Spent many hours lighting people up with the taser and restarting to do it again.
This game was dumb. The taser was pretty cool, but then everyone starts wearing armor and then all you do is corner peak headshot everyone or autolock with the one assault rifle weapon that could penetrate armor.
The last boss is inexplicably invulnerable to everything but the gas grenade. Why the hell? He's not even wearing heavy armor like the guy with the flamethrower.

I've played and loved both SP 1 & 2. But I found them sort of...too easy I guess? The auto-aim feature is maybe a bit TOO helpful, and even in the later levels there are a good amount of bullettproof jackest to help you. Anyway, great games.

I played and beated the PS1 SF trilogy. They were fantastic games. Never played the PS2 games in the series.
Dem weapons was one of the selling points since theres 30+ weapons you can obtain. SF3 included a weapon book.
I grew up with SF2 and 3, got into 1 only a year ago and it's just as great. I love how games try to take themselves seriously with the thriller story and atmosphere.
Really fun gameplay, whoever said in this thread that autoaim is a bit too helpful probably only played MP with grenades like a cheeky cunt because autoaim heavily depends on your facing and positioning in general, more often than not it won't work and you are wasting ammo.
SF2 is especially a challenging game for a first blind playthrough since roughly half of the mission rely on stealth.
