Autist detected.

Sorry, I'm tired and have misread the OP.
I vote for Land of illusion then. Disney games used to be synonym of quality.
>>2760004
I really hated this game. It's kinda trippy.
>fighting what looks like monkeys
>then dogs
>suddenly, faries
>you'll never find an L

This game is awesome; doesn't get the credit it deserves, probably because it's somewhat on the easy side. Really showed what the thing could do if the devs actually gave a fuck; I loved the little bits inspired by Super Mario World; the map with revisitable locations is a start, but they actually reproduced some very impressive (tech-wise) bits, like the shifting terrain layers and whatnot, pic related.
Plus, not everything is random rehashing of cool stuff from other games; some original concepts are pretty neat, like the auto-scroll scenes where you've got to keep pressing buttons to shift the screen back, or the very last level, where you've got to climb the moving wall and slide up and down to clear obstacles.
I love the Illusion ones >>2760074 >>2760167 and Astérix >>2760016 (which is also an exclusive, BTW), but the best game in the entire catalogue has to be Wonder Boy III
>>2759941
Man, it was so lame when the developers actually admitted they inverted the jump/hit button from the traditional mapping just to make the game feel "different than Mario"
No contest
>>2760037
>Streets of Rage
Any reason to play that over the Mega Drive version?
>>2760901
8-bit goodness.
>>2760909
That's SORII though
>>2760901
Nope. But it's a pretty good port considering the limitations.
>>2760901
hell no.
dont listen to the other guys, sor on sms has a 2 enemy limit per screen.
Zillion.
WB3: Best game
Phantasy Star is the shit.
As weird as it is, I think the Master System has a more well rounded library than the Mega Drive. Far fewer shitty Exclusives at the very least.
>>2759941
You already did.

Prompt didn't make much sense to begin with.
>ports to SMS from MD
>release dates after MD for SMS
Being a Segafag is tough. I'm glad I was born with Nintendo.
>>2764790
>release dates after MD for SMS
I've always thought that Sega keeping the SMS alive even several years after the MD's release was cool. Nowadays, a generation of consoles pretty much instantly dies as soon as a new one gets released.
>>2764881
PS360 are still getting games.
Wonderboy 3 The Dragons Trap is my favourite, awesome game.

Can a one-item list still be considered a list? I think the word "name" would have been more appropriate in that sentence. Whatever. Have a free bump.

Best SMS racing game?
>>2763460
This. I'd have to go with Wonderboy 3, even over Phantasy Star, R-Type, California Games, and Kenseiden.
Most underrated SMS game is Penguin Land.
Best MD to SMS port is Road Rash.
>>2764881
There's a ton of excellent European SMS games which Amerifags have never heard of.
At risk of starting the ever-popular flash cart wars, are there any other high compatibility SMS flash carts besides the Everdrive?

In my opinion this is one of the most underrated games of all time.
Sure it'll pop up in top 10's for the SMS regularly, but this is such a good game I sincerely believe that it is a better game than anything on the NES.
>perfect pacing
>beautiful big sprites
>varied and tight gameplay
>did the Zelda 2 thing thats kind of popular right now better than anything else ever has
>music
>colours
It's so perfect.
think I'm going to have to go with golden axe warrior, WB3 is too easy to cheat (westone something, start as human, complete game in roughly 20 mins)
I nearly went with robocop vs terminator because best concept ever but it was better on megadrive/genesis.
I would say phantasy star also but its either grind for I think I calculated 3 days, or hack the money variable. for gear.
Dragon's Trap would be my favorite but Sonic The Hedgehog and Castle of Illusion SMS versions are definitively not far behind, I even love it more than 16-bit versions. Still, Wonderboy game is far more challenging, deeper or overall longer than any of SMS top platformers.

I don't understand why they didn't do this with Bocke's colors though. They're all right there in his palette.
End of discussion

i can never do the final stage, either run out of time or rc battery despite upgrading
>people forgetting fucking Ys 1
>ctrl F
>GunStar Heroes
>Zero Results
Time to fix that then. Sure the Megadrive version is THE version to play. But the Master System one is really quite impressive for what it is.
>>2776627
It's only on the Game Gear though. The screen shot even reads "GG".
>>2776627
Holy shit I didn't even know it was on the Master System. Time to check it out.
every single master system game looks fucking terrible lol
>>2776716
/v/ please leave.
at least brazilians have a good excuse for liking this shit
>A6M3
>A6M3 mod 22
>identical planes
>later has a different paint sceme and a higher BR
Why?
>>2776757
What are you talking about and what does it have to do with master system games?
>>2776716
The hardware is good but the software is shite especially when most of the games were better on megadrive.
>>2778473
>I have no clue about the Master System's bibrary
Why even take the time to post when it's very clear to anyone who knows what they're talking about that you're full of it? And I'm not even much of a Master System fan.
>>2778478
I bought my master system sometime around 2004 ,there's about 5 or 6 games I like the rest are trash.
>>2769813
>ride never ends: the game
>>2776757
google tells me those are planes
I guess he thought he posted in /k/ or /n/ or something?
