I can kinda see bisharp as edgeworth but Phoenix is a bit harder. Pidgeotto kinda has a similar hair thing going but I agree that a blue bird would be better

Since you sound likely to go competetive with that team I was about to suggest a better owl pokemon but then I realized HootHoot and Noctowl are the only owl pokemon.

Some friends and I are considering theme teams for pre-Sun and Moon shenanigans. If we carry them over to sun and moon, I'm definitely grabbing a Rowlet. The other ideas are all classic /lit/ themed too, like Sherlock Holmes and Lovecraftian.
