Adding Gen 7 mons would be a great advertisement strat. I'm actually surprised that Pokemon Go isn't already advertising Sun/Moon.
I think adding Gen II Pokemon in August would be a smart move. Followed by Gen 7 Pokemon one week at a time leading up to Sun/Moon.

I think Gen 2 Mons are pretty forgotten by everyone in general, so maybe it'd be cool if they were added to GO in the next big update.

Go by release order so it will take quite some time to release them all and when Gen VI is finally added (if the game isn't dead yet) people will have nostalgia for it.
If people already have Nostalgia for Gen IV it won't take long for the newer ones.
