Rounding out the best final is tough. But i guess it's between Torterra and Greninja. I have a hard time deciding which one's better.
Taste is subjective, but it doesn't change the fact that any ranking where the top 3 isn't 1, 3 and 6, no matter the order, is wrong

As much as I love gen 2, its starters are kind of boring, but the only one where I really never want any of them is gen one, and it's the gen I started with. They're just... bland. I don't know, they don't appeal to me anymore.

3rd Generation was great in all regards.
6th Gen was great for mixing it up with types
1st Gen has great designs all around but stat spread has aged.
4th Gen was pretty great for new types but Infernape was repetitive.
2nd Gen pokes are dated and stat spreads are pretty bad, only Feraligatr stands out now
5th Gen is dogshit in all regards. 3rd Fire/Fighting in a row, Monotype Water and Grass type. Horrible stats and movesets for all pokemon. Witch is unfortunate because 5th Generation was so well polished everywhere else.
