Anyone feel that Samurott would've been a Water/Fighting type samurai warrior if it wasn't a gen 5 starter? Fucking Emboar took it's subtyping away...
I'm pretty certain the starters were the least prioritised thing about Gen V. They just slapped them up and that was that.

The giant head gear looks fucking stupid, barely looks like a Japanese Helmet.
Mixed attacker but slow as shit with no speed boosting move
Horrible move pool.
Then they made Razor Shell worse than all the other Slash variants. And uses it's worse attacking stat.
