The fighting Gyms are always Gyms. Cinawood's is an endurance training gym, Veilstone's is a kickboxing gym and Dewford's is a exercising Gym.

Aesthetically, it is almost unmatched.
The flying gyms all collectively have the best aesthetics though and this will always be true
I usually dislike gyms that don't look safe. I know you're a teenager in a world filled with powerful monsters but some gyms are straight up deadly.
That's probably why I like Water gyms are my favourite.
The one that would most certainly get the gym leader sued into the fucking ground from all the trainers getting their legs and spines broken from being shot into walls or through boxes. I forget whose, I think it was a Flying gym.

Nothing matches the supreme use of ambiance and music in Nimbasa Gym #2.
There are better puzzle gyms, sure, but pic related is justthe best overall unless you have the sound off.

This. Olympia is the worst. Even the gen 1 gym leaders, who had next to zero characterization, were more charismatic and flashed-out than Olympia.
Doesn't help she also has a bald forehead.
