Found a neat little tool for finding and placing locations where Pokemon are in Pokemon Go. On one hand it's pretty neat, one the other it's pretty sad that people made this within a week of the game's launch.
http://pikamaps.com/ is the actual link since apparently I'm yahoo news and talk about something without posting a link to it.
I mean I would place some but there are so many all found within the same spot, there's no way to do it. Without spamming the board full of pidgeys and shit.

This, should have a sort function for each pokemon. You want a taurus? Well heres All the location that its sighting.
EVEN better, add in a density chart, where areas with higher reports of said pokemon get a deeper color when you search for it, then if you want to be super cool, add in a feature that accounts for population density, giving you highest pokemon found per capita.

Well, there is a filter at the top, which sort of does that.
A density chart would be pretty sweet though, especially for really population-dense areas.
There's already a better thing here

Notable spawns are marked (dragonites, final evos, rare mons etc). Nobody fucking cares where you found a Goldeen.

How do pokemon spawn in pokemon go exactly? I just assumed water pokemon spawned near water, other shit near land, and maybe different pokemon spawned depending on # of pokestops nearby...I didnt think it depended heavily on specific location.

The more people play around you the more Pokemon spawn in your location.
Some Pokemon are more rare then others.
Don't think there are confirmed exclusives yet but some areas have different kind of Pokemon then others.

We have a waterpark in our city and a lot of water pokemon spawn there.
