Mine was Team Instinct snatching a gym before I could place a Pokémon right after I took the defending Pokémon down singlehandedly. The 1HP glitch happened when I tried to take the gym from them.

I was one battle away from leveling up an Instinct gym to level 5 and the game refused to let me battle the gym. Then a group of people from another team started attacking and all of it was for nothing.
Got to work an hour early to farm and take over the gym next door only to find this. I could have been sleeping.
It had started running so well recently too.

This isn't the most frustrating, but I actually have a screenshot of it. Game froze like this. Hitmonlee just kept doing his fucking idle animation but I couldn't throw the ball or ANYTHING.

I just kept logging in and out for 30 minutes and eventually the shop loaded and I got the 5000 stardust and 100 pokébucks, thankfully someone went around and fortified some of my gyms.

Yeah, same shit here. Going for a five mile walk, and the servers died less than a quarter mile in. Watch them come back up right as I get home where there's only pidgeys and ratatas.
