Can smeone tell me how your pokemon attacks work with CP?

I have a Pinsir which is bretty gud, it has a CP of around 300 but his moves suck ass (ne is 30 damage and one is 5 damage)

But I have Bulbasaur with a CP of 12 that has one move doing 60 damage and the other that does 10 damage.. Seems to shit all over the Pinsir moves.

How the fuck does it work? And where the fuck can I find some god dam fucking Machops already???

No, all moves are more or less balanced since the base moves all get their attack speed raised or lowered based on the damage and the secondary move requires more resources/energy.
