Saw a shiny Geodude while Nuzlocking HeartGold. Didn't have a lot of balls, so I had to weaken it first. A crit Cut from my Paras hit harder than I thought even a crit could, and it died.
Only shiny I've seen this year.

Sunkern in Crystal at random though that may have been last year, happened across a Larvesta in the Friend Safari in Y, random Swablu in OR, and just last week hatched a shiny Spritzee while trying to breed for one with good IV's in Y.
