I know /vp/ hates any comparisons to Yokai Watch, but I really wish Pokemon had fully orchestrated cd quality music like that series, instead of the 3DS games still sounding like they are limited to the DS sound card. The synths for brass is just so phoney, the only good tracks in the modern games are ones that are flat out electronic.

With the exception of most of the ORAS tracks, remake versions of old tunes always leave me disappointed, ESPECIALLY when it comes to the battle themes. They just try to do too much and the remixes wind up too muddy or stuffed full of blaring sound effects.
