same. played since gen 1 and the only team i remember is my diamond team:
overleveled empoleon, slightly overleveled cricketune, 3 lake spirits, and some random 6th thing

in my earlier playthroughs i overleveled my starter who also doubled as the hm slave, caught whatever legends were available, and just used whatever was available when i was stuck
now i can actually plan these things out and prepare for whatever i was going to run into

My first game was FR and I'm 24
HeartGold was probably the most fun playthrough I have ever had. The Safari Zone expansion while tedious and long added so much variety Johto desperately needed. Subsequent playthroughs of HeartGold are impossible because Gen4 is too slow.

Playing Emerald for the first time and am loving it. 3rd gen is super easy replayable. Unlike Gen4.
