Not to mention the telegraphing of attacks in battle mode make the enemy flash like a fucking megaman villain so you can take a leisurely stroll to the left and then poke it once an infinite number of times. This obvious tell has been used to dethrone high level gyms with a level 20 pidgey.

So really, why go for gyms again?

Because there's nothing else to the game? At that point all you're doing is capturing, from a small pool of 100, randomly generated pokemon. Please enlighten me on the depths and high level play Go provides besides its shit gym system.
