No, Typhlosion was the best Gen ll starter. Feraligatr is the best gen ll starter now, though.

The physical/special split helped the Gatr out so fucking much.

in all honesty gatr's just been improved each gen. all it really needs now is a strong physical STAB move and a bit more coverage. if megas are still in SuMo then mega gatr with an expanded moveset could pretty much make him perfect
