I find the combat too similar between the two for that to be a factor for me. I don't think it's good in either. I can't stand everything else in X though. Only good points are maybe one or two good songs and a couple cute characters.

Honestly that would've made it even less appealing to me. I hate MMOs and would end up enjoying it even less. I'm not gonna disagree with the world part, but while there were some pretty sights, none of it really grabbed me.

And Skells lost a lot of their appeal once I found out Skell armor doesn't change the look at all.It was really disappointing to find out my favorite Skell design was completely useless once the higher level models were unlocked. The vehicle transformations were totally badass though.
