Back during my deviantart days, I had an idea for a game where this guy has megaman-esque arm cannon, and lives with his mechanic sister Pichu on an ocean platform. He has a spaceship underneath the base, and uses a giant railgun with wings on the side to launch out into the sky.

Raichu's always been my favourite too. He kinda reminds me of a neglected older sibling of a golden child. I'm an only child, so I can't even relate to that, I've just always liked and kinda felt bad for Raichu.

Make no mistake, Pikachu also fills that niche- even if Raichu better fills the "cool" sectorand Pikachu maybe better fills the "cute"- and is honestly just as great. I love 'em both.For sure, though, there are those people who despise Pikachu for its fame and "like" Raichu because it's not Pikachu; those are the ones to watch out for, because fuck those guys.

It definitely isn't because of its inferiority complex fanbase though.
Considering he is the final evolution of one of the most iconic creatures ever made it's interesting that he is not popular at all, no main character in the anime ever had one even. I feel like he is under developed.

That's abnormally large. The anime is known for messing up sizes quite often. Raichu is less than 3 feet.

Raichu is fun to use, too. With his 10 speed increase he just barely squeaked into being a nice Encore user. Not the best one but with enough unique qualities to stand out.
