You act like Round was actually a viable strategy in any gen at any point between Gens 5 and 6. Just because it works as the gimmick it's trying to be doesn't make it good or mean people should know about it. 100% Critdra is a thing that works too, but nobody uses it because it's a gimmick.

Round was actually viable, less viable in the official formats but fanmade metas had Deoxys-S and like at least 2 scarf or fast mons including Meloetta.
It can effectively remove from 1 to 2 targets at once in one turn considering you will attack first and the base power becomes 120.
It wasn't extemely common but viable as much as weather, especially because said Round teams were able to include Hail teams too, PZ learned Blizzard and the other mons had coverage.
