I wouldn't care if they didn't add any Pokemon at all.
Getting to 800 is not a stretch at all, even by the standards of how many Pokemon XY added.
I think they'll probably add few Pokemons, no more than 70. But it's really because they are getting to a point where it's ridiculous to add more, many are falling behind and people can't probably remember 70% of them.
I do hope we get at least 6 legendaries that are NOT event related.

We've already reached to 750+, it can be possible considering there is confirmation of over 30 Pokemon so far..
