Also to be fair, the US has some pretty diverse geographies even in single states.
I suppose now that my dream of a Hawaiian region has been realized though, my next hope would be for maybe a region based on like Eastern Europe or something for some Slavic Folkmyth based pokemon.

Well we had 4 based on Japan (even though only the first two felt Japanese. The latter 2 were much more OC)

If anything it looks more like a barren wasteland you'd find in Fallout games.
