There's something ironic about the game with the blandest pallette starting the trend of over saturated colours in the show.
Honestly, I don't like to be snobbish and complain about the animation/art quality, because as much as I like exquisite animation like Secret of NIMH, I have to remember someone, somewhere in Japan is getting underpaid and overworked.
