/vp/ isn't one person. If you made a strawpoll you'd probably find it was quite popular. Just because people who hate gen 5 are obnoxious faggots and post it everywhere doesn't mean they're the majority. I once hated gen 5 and now it's probably my favourite gen.

Well yeah, Gen V's status as largest gen led to a bunch of shitty filler mon. Ice Cream and Garbage lines are both the well known shitty lines, but then we had palette swap monkeys, palette swap genies, palette swap gay martial artists, then whatever the fuck the tympole line was supposed to be.
But then every other pokemon was based as hell.

NOBODY likes either of those. Maractus is a girlier cacturne with no evolution unique typing or movepool. Cryognal is a worse Glalie that isn't relevant in ANY situation. at least garbador had a unique theme behind it instead of big dumb snowflake and cactus #3

Not even baiting, I fucking despise Black and White with a burning passion. I literally get more enjoyment out of any other main series Pokemon game, including the dated Gen I games.
Black and White 2 were fantastic fucking games, but I just cannot stomach BW. I just overall did not care for Unova.

I hated Gen V because the look of the new pkm. a few like hawlucha were amazing, but the majority was rather dissapointing.
