These are objectively bad games.

As amusing as it is to watch Kaloshitters defend every little aspect of their games as if they are flawless, it's getting sad at this point.

Accept it.

They are flawed as fuck but still not bad games

Trips for truth. The Gen 2 games will always be the worst.

There is a whole thread that proves you're a contrarian man baby

What's with the sudden hate for gen 2? Is it because of the sudden rise of summerfags and normies?

If we are talking about which pokemon games are objectively the best, it has to be gen 2 or its remakes

>All video games are flawed
6 gen of pokemon games, all of which have shit in them.

Gens 5 and 2 have the worst starters. Period. Froakie becomes Uber-tier ninja frog, Delphox has a unique typing and Chesnaught... meh. All of them are useable though in the game and aren't absolute shit.

Gen 5 has danger noodle with no fucking movepool. Literally only useable thanks to it's hidden ability which finally got released. Ingame its fucking garbage. Oshawatt? Literally who? Another generic water type? Oh.. at least it fuckingl earns megahorn AMIRITEGUYS? And the third and worst Fire/Fighting starter. Maybe you're too young to remember or just retarded but when everyone found out emboar was fire/fighting we lost our shit. ANOTHER one.. and WORSE. 5th gen has the WORST starters ever.

Gen 2 starters look ok.. they are just horribly bland. At least they aren't a massive fucking disappointment that 5 was. Meganium is boring and the worst. Typhlosion is at least useful and Feraligatr actually is not bad.. just boring water type with nothing unique about it.

Gen 5 really was the low point for the series.

Gen 2 had tons of forgettable shitmons, some of which weren't even usable until they got evolutions in Gen 4. The level curve was atrocious. Many Gen 2 Pokemon, like Larvitar, weren't even obtainable until postgame. Half of all the gym leaders and Lance didn't have any Gen 2 Pokemon on their teams. HG/SS ran on Gen 4's molasses engine, ruined some of the music like Goldenrod City, and replaced the Game Corner with a watered down minesweeper.

Depends on your frame of reference if we're going with
>Best game at the time of release
Then Gen 2 would be a common answer

The game just aged terribly and the remakes blew them into the nostalgia bin
